With a lifelong passion for travel and over 17 years of leadership experience as a college basketball coach, Michelle Roof brings unmatched energy, organization, and a service-first mindset to the world of travel planning. After years of managing team travel and perfecting every detail, she now brings that same commitment to creating seamless, meaningful vacations for her clients.
In 2020, Michelle proudly took over RX Travel from her mother, continuing a family tradition built on trust, relationships, and exceptional customer service. Today, she leads RX Travel with a personalized, hands-on approach-crafting custom itineraries that are stress-free, meaningful, and meticulously planned.
Michelle holds a Bachelor’s degree from Eastern Illinois University and a Master’s in Business Administration from Aurora University. Her background in coaching and law enforcement shaped her values of preparation, communication, and going above and beyond—qualities that define the RX Travel experience. Becky Rogy is a true veteran of the travel industry, with a career spanning over five decades. She began her journey in 1974 and quickly built a reputation for exceptional customer service, industry expertise, and a genuine talent for relationship building. Becky gained valuable experience working at respected agencies including Peoria Travel, World Wide Travel, and Ambassador Travel—where she served as manager—before joining Alexander Travel.
In 1999, driven by her entrepreneurial spirit and unwavering commitment to her clients, Becky founded her own agency:
Rogy Xpert Travel (RX Travel).
Her loyal clients followed her without hesitation, a testament to the trust she had earned through years of personalized, attentive service.
Through countless industry shifts—from paper tickets to digital bookings, from global uncertainty to travel booms—Becky’s steady leadership and adaptability allowed RX Travel to not only survive, but thrive.
Now serving as Vice President of Operations, Becky continues to play a vital role behind the scenes in a consulting and business operations capacity. Her deep industry knowledge and strategic insight remain a guiding force for the agency she built from the ground up.

After 31 years with the Chicago Police Department, retiring as Commander of the 17th District, Michelene Alexa has transitioned from protecting communities to helping people explore the world. As a Destination Specialist at RX Travel, she channels her passion for travel and connection into creating meaningful, joy-filled experiences for her clients.
Throughout her distinguished career, Michelene rose through the ranks from Officer to Sergeant, Lieutenant, and ultimately Commander — a path that required exceptional organization, problem-solving, and communication skills. She led with compassion, strength, and an unwavering commitment to others — qualities that now define her approach to travel planning. Whether it’s a relaxing beach escape, milestone celebration, or dream adventure abroad, Michelene brings the same focus, attention to detail, and care she once used to protect communities to ensure every client feels confident and supported from start to finish..
